Founded in 2002, New Folk Records set out to create a home for creative, Minnesota-based musicians who were just starting their musical journey. We work with artists from all around the word and across all genres; Celtic, Rock, Blues, Jazz and more.

In 2022 the company's owner, a veteran himself, agreed to release our first charity project. It was an original Christmas song recorded by John Schneider and Mike Huckabee. Because of its success, this year we released our first full-length charity album of military experience songs and songs about the love of country. 100% of the received proceeds will go to our chosen non-profit.

As we look to the future, through our three divisions; New Folk Records, Loud Folk Records and Little Folk Records, we intend to continue to find, record, and release albums by artists who share our values and deserve to have that bigger audience.
