I also knew that products that were 75% to 80% water-based could not produce real lasting results since water is basically 'nutrient empty.' I knew from my research what aloe vera was capable of from the work done by Dr. Ivan Danhoff. His research confirmed that fibroblast cells (collagen) increase up to 8 times faster when aloe vera is applied. So, this nutrient-dense gel is capable of trans-epidermal penetration, making it the perfect base to carry other nutrients (not water because skin is hydrophobic) into the dermis to improve skin health.
