The Freedom Baitz DMR is a versatile straight-tail plastic with a unique twist. Named after the military's Designated Marksman Rifle, the DMR is designed for precision targeting trophy fish. Just like its namesake, this bait is all about accuracy and effectiveness. Featuring two strategically placed arms off the sides, it delivers an enticing action that mimics the natural movement of prey, triggering aggressive strikes.

Designed in-house by our pro staff member Robert Doubek, the DMR takes the best attributes of proven Freedom Baitz classics like the Tomahawk tail and the Apache, fusing them into one deadly weapon.

Robert's vision was to create a versatile bait that could entice a wide range of species, and the DMR delivers. Its unique design produces an irresistible swimming action that triggers aggressive strikes from everything from finicky bluegill to dusk-time walleyes.

Pair the DMR with any Widow Maker Dropper style tungsten jig (3-5mm). Thread the jig from the tip of the plastic and poke the hook out somewhere around the center of the bait. This setup is deadly!
