Gen 1–6 Incl. Gen 5 & 6 Single-Piece Monolithic Heat-Treated 4140 Steel 100% USA Made

The GRT Glock Gen 1-6 Assisted Reset Trigger is the first single-piece trigger assisted reset engineered across every Glock generation, Gen 1 through Gen 6. One solid piece of heat-treated 4140 steel replaces your factory trigger and delivers a crisp, positive reset for faster follow-up shots.

Most Glock reset triggers stop at Gen 4. If you run a Gen 5 or Gen 6, or own Glocks from more than one generation, the GRT is built for all of them.

Why the GRT

  • First single-piece TAR for Gen 1–6. One design covers the full Glock lineup, including the Gen 5 and Gen 6 frames.
  • Monolithic construction. Machined as one piece, with no small assembled parts to loosen, wear, or fall out of time.
  • Reinforced, heat-treated 4140 steel. High strength and heat resistance for a part that takes a hit every time the slide cycles.
  • Crisp, positive reset. The slide drives the trigger forward to reset, so follow-up shots come faster while operation stays dependable.
  • 100% USA made.

Install note: The GRT replaces your factory trigger. If you are not experienced working inside a Glock frame, have a qualified gunsmith install it. Function-check thoroughly before live fire.
Legality: The GRT fires one round per function of the trigger. Pistol reset triggers are newer than rifle FRTs, and the 2025 federal settlement covering rifle FRTs did not extend to handguns. Review our reset trigger legality guide and confirm your federal, state, and local status before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Glock generations does it fit?

Gen 1 through Gen 6, including Gen 5 and Gen 6.

What is a trigger assisted reset (TAR)?

The slide's cycle pushes the trigger forward to its reset point, giving a crisp, positive reset and faster follow-up shots. It fires one round per function of the trigger.

What does monolithic mean?

It's machined as one solid piece of 4140 steel, not assembled from small parts. Fewer parts means fewer failure points.

I have a Gen 1-4. Which one should I buy?

Both fit. Choose the GRT for heat-treated 4140 steel or if you run Glocks across multiple generations.

Are pistol reset triggers legal?

State laws vary and change. Check our legality guide before you order.
