Why H3? The Disruptor requires an H2 buffer minimum — but H3 is the recommended weight, especially for suppressed builds, short-gas systems, and high round count shooting. At 5.4 oz, the H3 slows bolt velocity enough to give the Disruptor's reset lobe consistent engagement on every cycle. More margin, more reliability, no tuning required.

The H3 Steel Buffer — V2 Reciprocating Design

This is not a standard fixed-weight H3. The V2 reciprocating internal weight system replaces the static steel weight with tungsten counter-mass weights that shift during cycling — smoothing deceleration, reducing bolt bounce, and cutting felt recoil compared to a conventional buffer.

On a forced reset trigger build cycling at ~1,150 RPM, those benefits compound with every shot. Smoother deceleration means more consistent reset timing. Less bolt bounce means fewer light strikes. The tungsten weights deliver full H3 mass in a standard 3.25" carbine body — drop-in installation, no gunsmithing required.
