Bring the golden light of late summer into your garden with Showy Goldenrod. This spectacular North American native wildflower is famed for its large, fluffy plumes of brilliant golden-yellow flowers that bloom from late summer into fall. Unlike its weedy relatives, Showy Goldenrod is a well-behaved, clump-forming perennial that provides a vital late-season nectar source for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. It is a tough, low-maintenance, and drought-tolerant choice for any prairie, meadow, or naturalized garden.
