Underpatch for Omnipod 5 & Dash

Compatible with Omnipod 5 and Omnipod Dash.

The Freedom Underpatch™ is an adhesive barrier accessory designed to sit beneath the compatible pod adhesive. Also commonly described as an underlay, underlay patch or adhesive barrier, it is applied before the compatible pod adhesive to create a physical underlay layer beneath the compatible pod adhesive.

How to Apply

1. Clean and completely dry the application area.
2. Apply the Freedom Underpatch™ at the selected application area using the 3-part EZ Peel backing.
3. Position and apply the compatible Omnipod pod over the Underpatch according to the device manufacturer's instructions, using the designed cutout for placement.
4. A compatible Omnipod Overpatch™ can be added around the pod for supplemental adhesive coverage.
5. A compatible reusable Freedom Guard™ or Freedom Band® system can be used for additional physical coverage.

Underpatch vs. Overpatch

The Underpatch goes beneath the compatible pod adhesive. The Overpatch goes over and around the existing pod adhesive. The two accessories serve different physical placement purposes and can be combined when appropriate.
