We Salute Our Veterans—Today and Every Day

…but especially today, on Veterans Day.

At Mammoth Nation, we are very proud to be Americans. And we thoroughly understand that without the brave men and women who have fought for our freedom since this country began almost 250 years ago, we would highly likely be in a vastly different place today. We could be living under the boot of tyranny, serfs to our masters. But, of course, that is not how the story ended—and we are most grateful to every brave soldier who risked or even gave their lives so that we could be free.

What is Veteran’s Day?

Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, is a national holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11. It honors military veterans of the United States Armed Forces, recognizing their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

The holiday originated on November 11, 1919, as Armistice Day, commemorating the end of World War I. The armistice between the Allied Nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, marking the end of hostilities. In 1954, after World War II and the Korean War, the 83rd Congress amended the Act of 1938 by striking out the word “Armistice” and inserting “Veterans.” Since then, November 11 has been officially known as Veterans Day.

Veterans Day is a federal holiday, which means that all federal offices, courts, and banks are closed. It is always observed officially on November 11, regardless of the day of the week.

Veteran’s Day 2024

The magnitude of Veteran’s Day is particularly poignant in 2024, as we have recently elected Donald J. Trump to become our Commander-in-Chief in the coming year. We have never been so close to losing to the Marxist agenda as we have been in this last election cycle. We’re definitely not out of the woods by any means, but it is clear that the majority population of this amazing nation is on the side of freedom. And, as patriots, we must be willing to continue to fight, as we are still under the very real threat of evil forces that want nothing more than to thwart the successful experiment that is our beloved, free country.

The overwhelming appreciation we feel toward our sisters and brothers who have had the courage to fight in the battles since the birth of this country cannot be measured. And the souls that have been lost for this fight deserve the greatest honor of all. Without their willingness to sacrifice for future generations, as mentioned earlier, our world would be quite different than it is today. We need to keep their spirit alive and teach our children to understand and memorialize all our fallen soldiers and to hold our current military men and women in the highest esteem. These are the truest of all patriots, for they were willing to die for us. We are eternally grateful.

John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.”

This Veteran’s Day let’s all pay homage to the many Veterans, active and inactive, who have bravely fought for, and are ready to go to battle for our freedom. It is very appalling how the recent administration is treating our Veterans—denying them resources that they hand over to illegal immigrants like lottery winnings. It is truly reprehensible that our own government could treat our Veterans with such disdain. We all know that as soon as President Trump is back in office, this will change immediately—it can’t happen soon enough.

This is why we need to continue praying for President Trump’s safety and protection all the way up to Inauguration Day. So, when he takes his oath, he will immediately provide our Veterans with the respect and support that they so deserve. We all know how revered the Veterans are to President Trump, and we can’t wait to see how he will elevate their significance to the rest of the nation. He’s got some great celebrations in store for our country’s 250th birthday, and you can count on the fact that the Military will be a major highlight of all the events. President Trump will Make Veterans Great Again, and we are here for it!
