First, our primary goal is to deliver the best natural products for the best price. Secondly, we try to provide excellent customer service, which is essential. Because we value our customers, Sugar Mountain is passionate about doing our part to improve their lives.
Our handcrafted all-natural lye-based soaps are perfectly formulated to deeply clean, exfoliate and moisturize your skin, making it ideal for everyday use. It lasts 2 to 3 times longer than commercial soaps and has shown to be great for people with skin problems like Eczema, Psoriasis, dry, itchy skin, and acne. You must understand we are bombarded with unnatural chemicals every day. These chemicals damage us over time. Our unique blend helps re-balance your skin's natural PH balance, thus allowing your body time to heal itself.
A little back story… On a weekend getaway years back, I stumbled across a bar of oatmeal soap. Having forgotten my shaving kit, I decided to give it a whirl. After a couple of days, I noticed my skin was still dry, BUT the itching had subsided tremendously. I know that doesn't sound like much, but when you're a diabetic that also has psoriasis, it is a big deal. So after buying the last bar in the gift shop, I headed homeward. I called the company a week later to order more, only to find out they were sold out. Being a problem solver by trade, I decided to try to create my own. After spending almost a year researching all-natural soap making, I finally came up with a method that healed my dry skin and alleviated my psoriasis symptoms. Amazing. I started sending it to family and friends, and they loved it. Here we are 4 ½ years later, selling soap and loving our jobs. It is personally gratifying to have people walk into our store saying ‘thank you’ and telling us how something as simple as soap actually helped change their lives.
