Avenger® AG Optima Weed Killer and Avenger Weed Killer are excellent botanical alternatives to synthetic, toxic herbicides when you need to use in areas where children and pets are present. AG Optima Concentrate mixes 16:1 (16 parts water to 1 part AG Optima) and Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate mixes 6:1 (6 parts water to 1 part Avenger Weed Killer).
This patented, non-selective herbicide kills a broad spectrum of weeds and unwanted grasses naturally and quickly. The active ingredient is d-limonene (citrus oil). D-limonene naturally strips away the waxy plant cuticle, causing it to desiccate and die.
University and independent testing results prove that Avenger® is as effective, but faster acting compared to the leading synthetic herbicides, even those containing glysophate. When tested against herbicides made from vinegar (acetic acid), citric acid or essential oils or glysophate, Avenger® is more effective with quicker results. It is an economical alternative to hand weeding, flaming, mowing, cultivation and other natural herbicides and is approved for use in organic gardening and organic production.
