Unique jewelry based on recycled guitar strings from String Thing Jewelry!

String Thing jewelry started in 2013 after my husband, who is a part-time musician, was changing his guitar strings following a performance.

My true life’s passion since childhood has always been some form of art that later led to my degree in the field of Graphic Arts. My in-home studio provided the space for my journey into the Arts consisting of paintings, photography, paper art, and juried and award-winning art shows. String Thing jewelry seemed to be a perfect fit for my passion.

Making jewelry out of both new and recycled guitar strings was conceived that day my husband changed his strings. I made myself a pair of earrings and posted them on my social media sites for my friends to see. Within hours, numerous people asked me to make them a pair! String Thing guitar string jewelry was born and has been growing ever since. In almost 9 years of creating jewelry, I now have pieces all across this great country of ours.

Many customers tell me that when they wear my jewelry, they are conversation pieces. I believe people gravitate towards my jewelry because of its uniqueness, one-of-a-kind design, and pride in the fact that it is handcrafted in the USA.
